This highly durable film maintain the integrity of a structure's outer shell to keep wind, rain and flying glass fragments from wrecking havoc inside the structure. We use the same 2-step system for hurricane protection that is used worldwide for bomb blast protection. First, we adhere 3M Ultrashield to the inside of your glass. We then use masking tape this creates a neat bead of structural silcone around the perimeter of the glass/film, anchoring it all to the frame. This ceates small missile impact protection that is tested up to 130 mph windloads. No other film dealer in this area performs the necessary task of edgelocking the film to the frame. Patended Ultrashield is 26 layers of film that creates the most tear resistant film on the market. It's been tested to be twice as strong as all other 4 mil products and on some tests as strong as 10 or 12 mil safety films. It's available clear and several Tinted versions.
